How to play the Bob Wilson Bluetooth phone game
The game was invented by two drunken idiots in the Montpellier Wine Bar, Cheltenham on Sunday 2nd March 2008. It is named after the poor unsuspecting Bob Wilson whose name was used for the very first game!
If you enjoy this game and would like to show your respect to the great man then you should change your phone's name to Bob Wilson.
Equipment needed:
- 1 or more players with a Bluetooth enabled phone.
- Unsuspecting members of the public with Bluetooth enabled. You can find these in places such as coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, etc.
Instructions for play:
- Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone and search for other devices
- From the list of names that appear on your phone, choose the most sensible sounding person's name e.g. Bob Wilson (rather than Nokia 8300)
- Call out, as loud as you dare, that name. Your aim is to be heard but not spotted as the caller.
- The next player now has to shout out the chosen name, louder than the previous player.
- The game continues with each player shouting out the chosen name louder than the previous player until the caller has been caught by the owner of the name.
- Whoever gets caught, beaten up, thrown out of the pub, barred, etc. is the loser.
Note: This game is played at your own risk.
